Cure Cancer Online Lab Tour

Dear Members and Special Guests,

Following on from our very successful 2021 BHCC BarbeCURE event where the club raised $80,000, equalling 1600 hours of research, we have been invited to join an exclusive Cure Cancer Virtual Lab Tour with Researcher Dr George Sharbeen.

This online ZOOM event will allow George to share his work, successes, and the importance of early career funding. The tour will include footage with George explaining what happens behind the scenes in the lab during his and fellow researchers’ inspiring work.

I attended a similar tour a couple of years ago and came away amazed with the processes and procedures in the labs as well as gaining much knowledge about how some cancers operate and the challenges researchers face working with this disease.
